How did you like the B-52s in various stages of dismantling? Alot of history on that base!!
Apparently its the third largest air force in the world.

I've been by that every time I go out to Tucson.
funny, they made the main road so that it drops
slightly beneath the surface level so that you
can't really see the planes from the road.
I am sure they did this for security...
guess it doesn't matter much with google.
thanks! I always wondered how big that sucker was!
(I think it is also near the Pima Air and Space Museum)

Been there Done That.... They have a great museum across the road with 75 acres of planes, and you can get an air conditioned bus tour of the base too... I definitely plan on going back!!!
