I was browsing in Google Earth and came across what looks like large cylinder at the Egmont Islands, which is just north of Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean. It appears to be approximately 30 feet long.

Any thoughts on what it could be? Just a natural formation? Something man made?

Prospecting
Just looking at the beachline to the south of it there appears to be a rock outcrop.

The flowlines from the tides and the heavier waves on that side of the island might have
caused a piece of the outcrop to be pushed up the coast.

Other side of the island probably more popular.

Nice Kitty on the other side near the Beach
