First, check your email preferences settings and make sure that clickable links are ENABLED!!!
If you're still having problems, and for some reason, the link supplied STILL isn't clickable, you will need to copy and paste the activation link that was sent to you.
The activation email looks like this...
If for some reason your activation link has a carraige return (takes up 2 lines) in it as shown below....
You will need to copy ALL the text!!!
How do you copy and paste?
Here's a short tutorial.
Once you know how to copy and paste.... Select the text of the activation link (shown in yellow above - we sent it you when you registered) by clicking and dragging your mouse over it. (as explained in the above tutorial) In most programs, the text will become highlighted, we happen to have our highlight color set to yellow, but it might be some other color on your computer. After it's highlighted, you need to go to your menu and select Copy (or right click on the highlighted text and select Copy!).
You need to "copy" the entire activation link!
After you've successfully "copied" that text, open a new web browser window, and "paste" that text into it to open that location. The "paste" command is usually located right next to the "copy" command - either in your menu, or by right clicking your mouse.
That will activate your TreasureNet Forum account.
Once your account is activated, you can login. You will be asked to enter the username and password you selected when you registered. Select "Always stay logged in" to avoid future problems.
If this still doesn't help, maybe you can ask someone with more experience than you to help. We can not help you further on this matter, since we would need to be at your computer to help!
