From the land of the Bluenose....headed up to the valley area with me bud Pat who wanted to go for a drive. Hit Lake George and another lake for a water swish and swim. Hard to believe that it's Sept. 22 and one can still go swimming without thermal gear on. Started hitting coins as soon as I entered the water (not many pennies) and it wasn't long before I had my first ring...........a kid's one that just about fell apart in my hand. Undaunted I trudged on hitting more coins and then a silver high school hockey ring from 1970. Shortly after that it was a toy rocket...you remember the kind you put the cap in and throw it in the air and lands with a bang. Ah to be that young again! Nice day with coins totaling $12.61
