| Description |
On the final day of a metal detecting trip to England, Dale Blasewitz didn't seem to be having much luck, but his friend Ralph Walters urged him to keep hunting. It was good advice. Twenty minutes later, Dale found what British authorities have identified as an "extremely rare" Celtic silver coin of AGR, North Thames Region, over 1,950 years old. Now securely tucked away in a safe deposit box, it is currently being researched by a leading numismatic firm. |
