I have been looking for both the sublett mine(which i think I may have found), the vicotrio peak although it is empty I believe there is gold still buried around there within a few miles. Have been looking using old military maps but the metal detector hasn't hit anything yet but some old bullets. What I am curious is the cabellos mountains. Found a few caves, but have not been in any of them any information on where to look in either victorio or cabello will be a great help. me and the wife are planning on going out there for 4 days of walking and camping and cave exploring. Do not want gold or silver, but we are looking for old guns and armor and swords.
