Thank you for the reply. My guess is that it isn’t that old. Also I found it in the backyard of a house built in the 1920’s. What year you think maybe 30s 40s?
Thanks guys took a while to solve this one at first couldn’t tell what it was. The O I was seeing was train driving wheels. So 1900 to 1910 possibly cool.
It’s just a flat button but no one can find out what is in the blanks of the letters I drew arrows to. Mystery. You know it could be a C and I am thinking it’s a O. I will check it out again tonight.
I wrote that in the original top post. Re read it carefully it will explain everything and how many spaces between. If you really need me to I will redo it all over
Trying to find info out a date and what it was made for. Previously posted we thought it was a weave basket design but after further lemon juice soaking a image appeared. “The flyer” with a train in the middle
Hmm ok just so I don’t seem crazy you see the letters I am pointing out they are there correct? Thanks for your info idk why those letters are there. And why they don’t add up. I added a picture for you
I know it’s double but there are many other L & (someone else) are you saying they only used the words double gilt? My main reason for the post is for someone who is experienced to fill in the blanks of the spaced out letters. Even if it is L&T what common words are on buttons that have either a...
So I did a little more cleaning and at first some said L& Tomes but I am seeing different letters I will point out what I see in case it is difficult for the viewers.
So I see a *L& after that is a blank spot but off camera could be a M it is what I am seeing let’s just keep that in mind. Then...
So I just want to know from users here do you experience this? I’ll explain a situation..
So you sweeping you center in on a target you dig it and you have the plug flipped over on the ground you sweep over it. And you can not hear the target So you flip the plug back over and the target is...
I am thinking the design is very close to this design here after taking a look again. Thanks. How do you clean something up like this anyway? I tooth brushed it that’s it.
Iit is very hard to see but you can clearly see some design and also the letter “O” in like the US currency Font. There is some sort of writing I can not make out what so ever. Just trying to get info if anyone has seen something like this before
Thanks guys. So how did this stay connected to the other piece I do not see anything broken on it. Is there a name for the fancy on it? Is that a common used fancy.
