  1. Very Cool Battle of Waterloo 1815 Flat Button and a Large Cent!

Thanks! It's most definitely a flat button. That's just a ring that's part of the design.
  2. Very Cool Battle of Waterloo 1815 Flat Button and a Large Cent!

Greetings all, I've been pretty sick for a couple weeks, but decided to get out for a quick hunt at a couple spots near my house. The first spot is one that I've hit probably over 100 times, but it still gives up stuff. The only notable relic I found there was an unassuming little flat button...
  3. 🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Very Early Buckle?

Greetings all, I found this at an old home site that was built sometime in the early 1800s. I can't find another example similar to it online, so I was hoping one of you all may be able to help. Can anyone identify this buckle and put a date range to it? Any help would be appreciated...
  4. 1840 William Henry Harrison Presidential Campaign Medal!

The button has an "R. W. Robinson Extra Rich" backmark. So 1834-1848 or thereabouts.
  5. 1840 William Henry Harrison Presidential Campaign Medal!

I'm assuming development. They are building a road through the area, but my site sits in a spot that would be really hard to build on.
  6. 1840 William Henry Harrison Presidential Campaign Medal!

Greetings all, It's been a while since I've posted, but I really haven't been finding much other than the occasional Minie Ball or other Civil War relic. Well the other day I drove past one of my old sites and saw that they had completely cleared out all the woods around it. This is the site...

Thank you everyone! We're going back out there tomorrow to hopefully find some more in the same area.
  8. Found the Contents of a Union Cavalryman's Cartridge Box!

I went back out there today and got ANOTHER Gallagher bullet! This one was found in a different spot maybe 15 feet away from the rest of them.
  9. Found the Contents of a Union Cavalryman's Cartridge Box!

Thanks guys! We were about to give up on this place. Now I'm wondering how many more relics are still there, but are too deep for our machines to detect. This site was a very big camp that was used multiple times around the end of the war.
  10. Found the Contents of a Union Cavalryman's Cartridge Box!

Here are some pictures of a non-dug cartridge and the weapon that fired it...
  11. Found the Contents of a Union Cavalryman's Cartridge Box!

Found the Contents of a Union Cavalryman's Cartridge Box Full of RARE Bullets!! So this is one of the coolest things I've ever found! My hunting buddy Craig and I went out to one of our favorite sites called Minie Ball Hill to look for some Civil War relics. I got a scratchy signal at the...
  12. V Nickel Valley and My First QUADFECTA!!

Hello All, About a week ago, my buddy and I stumbled upon an interesting site while looking for Civil War relics. While the relics themselves were few and far between, there was another find that was unusually common at this site. V Nickels! We've hunted it four times in the last week and...
