  • Thanks for the replying Doug, if I remember right you used to enshrine the relics and give them to the owners of the properties, as well as presenting some historical stuff for others to view. What a guy! I enjoy bringing things back to the owner's hands, if possible. Congrats on the kids' graduations! One of my sons got married last year and the other will be graduating from high school this year. The kids have grown and lots of things have changed since I was last on here. We moved on 2011 (same city, different area) and love it. I told my wife we're supposed to downsize in our mid life but instead we went back into debt at age 50. What can I say.
Hope you find lots of stuff in the new area. You sure took lots of treasure from where you used to live.
I'd like to see the magazine article, I'll try looking it up.
And thanks for the compliment about the CMA..I think my son has a better chance, he's quite good!
    So long for now,
Holy cow, it's an Elvis sighting!!! :laughing7: What's up Big Guy. I miss you posting on Tnet. I hope everything is well with you. I thought maybe you hit it big playing your guitar but I hadn't seen you on the CMA. :tongue3: You still detecting the yards and digging up all the Hot Wheels?
We moved from the Raleigh area to the Asheville area here in the NC mountains in Ot. 2012 to be closer to our kids in college. My daughter graduates next month and my son next year. Yahoo!!!! I miss my old detecting sites and digging CW relics. I've had to start fresh in this area, but not much CW action here. I've mainly been hitting late 1800's- early 1900's yards around here. Nothing too exciting yet.
I made it on the front cover of Western Eastern Treasures mag for the 2nd time a few months back. That was pretty cool.
Heading up to Indiana Tues for a few weeks to visit family, detect, and fish. Looking forward to it.
Stay in touch. It's GREAT to hear from you again! :occasion14: -Doug-
