What part of the valley are you from. My wife lives here in the valley and has relatives in Muskegon Michigan and Shelby also. I am wanting to get started in metal detecting. I have a few spots lined up, but have not purchased a detector yet. Have an AWESOME area waiting for me. Several old homes built in the 1800's near our hunting lease. Already have permission. Same area had several raids (Mexican American war) on the spot. Can't wait to get started. Do you know of any metal detecting club here?
