Hi,
The pinpoint hole dia. is a bit to large so the Bournes pot fit is sloppy. You need to fill in that space. You can always use some JB WELD epoxy. Put a pc. of painters tape on the backside of the faceplate covering the pinpoint hole. Find a pc. of polyethylene tubing about the size of the pot dia.. Mix up the JB and fill in the hole, make sure the faceplate is resting horizontal. Place the round tubing into the JB centered in the hole. After the epoxy cures pull out the tubing it will not stick. If the hole is now too small, take a small round file and make it larger to fit the pot. This is the alternative to finding a spacer washer to fit...
