What size boots and jacket do you wear. I know it gets a lot cooler where you live and I'm sure you could use some of this cold weather stuff more than I.
Hi Jeff. I just got home from work a little bit ago. Whew, 13 1/2 hours yesterday and 12 today.
I sent you a text message about going prospecting tomorrow (Saturday morning). You are welcome to call me. I'll be up for another hour or so, 9:45 now.

That sounds good to me Jeff. Let me see what my weekend is looking like a little later in the week. I have some web site maintenance to do at another persons convenience. I'll try to give you a heads up on which day would be best.

Hey Jeff, I just yesterday started reading the CA TN thread. Ya, this sounds like a fun thing to go to. I'm not sure of my work schedule for April but would definitely like to go. I have two sons down in that area I might try to lash up with. Let's keep in touch on this.

I agree about being in the mountains. I've deveoped gold fever, but still under control as I continue research. I'm interested in gold prospecting and mostly on the Smith River. IF my prospecting works out, I'd think I'd like to get a GB2. About 40 years ago, I had a metal detector and used it all over in Warren ID. (old mining town). I was 15,found lots of junk and a few Indian head pennies but still exciting. When I tried using one in FL 5 years ago, I immediately ran into stares and scowls for just showing up. It's kinda like they're either for or against, no middle ground. Yep, I always leave things as good or better where ever I go.
Just noticed you're nearby (I think) and wanted to say howdy.

So Jeff95531, what is on your mind? What sort of detecting do you want to do? What sort of machine do you have or think you want? What do you want to look for? Gold out in the mountains is more difficult to find than gold at beaches or in lawns but, in my mind, the mountains are more beautiful than most parks. Lawns are easier to detect than hiking all over heck and back in the mountains but I enjoy being out there and would go even if I didn't have a gold detector. Coin shooting in town (that is detecting for coins) is quicker to get to, easier to walk on and has its own ups and downs, usually as people have either positive or negative thoughts about detecting. One common thing regardless of where you detect - Always fill your holes! Never, Never leave holes in a beach thinking the tide will cover them up. So lets hear from you..............63bkpkr
