  • Saw your post that you only need the 1909-S VDB to complete your set. Is that all dug pieces? That's pretty incredible, if so. You are in a better area than me for the S mints. I have all the plains and as of today, after 50 years, all of the Denver mints. It took until today to get the 1912-D. I got the 1914-D years ago.

Yes, all dug. I'm in Idaho so we find quite a few S mint coins here. I know a guy who found a 09 S VSB in Boise, but I don't I'll find one. You never know though. I've found two 14Ds and two 31S so maybe I'll get that one, too. Congrats on the Ds!
Hey, Don. Sorry it took awhile to reply. I visited my Dad down in Georgia for the holidays and he doesn't have internet. I just got home on Sunday. I picked up a few Wheaties that I didn't have while I was down there...a 1918, 1919 and 1925 plains. No silver on this trip though, but I didn't get out as much as I wanted to. I'm not overly concerned about the quality of the pictures. You've seen the ones I have to trade, so if they're comparable to those, let's do it. All I'll need is an address and I can get these in the mail this week. Let me know.

How are you doing? How have you been? I really apologize about the penny trade. I have pennies sitting aside and wanted my daughter to take some pictures of them for me. You pictures are great and I know mine won't be so good unless she uses her Canon!

    Merry Christmas!

    Don
