Has anyone had any luck ground balancing their MXT using these methods? These methods do not mention finding a "clean spot" to ground balance.
1) "Put the MXT in Relic Mode and set the descrim. control low and run in Ground Trac mode for a minute, then switch to lock."
2) "Put MXT in Relic...
You are "right on the money" with your description of the plowing/farming practices in my area. This area has been plowed and harrowed for around 60+ years and now the owner has switched to "no till." It does have a plow pan in it at varying depths. I have found a 1783 1/2 Reale at about 4...
Do gold coins generally settle deeper in the ground compared to silver and copper coins because of golds higher weight/mass?
What is your deepest coin find that you think was dropped on the ground( 6", 12", 3 ft, etc??)
I have just bought a bigger coil that will go a lot deeper...

My friend says that the property has lots of caves and rock houses on it. He said he got the...
I didn't get any good info from my friends during my last visit. They have a son that has hunted all over Menifee County for ginseng, morels, grouse, etc. that I will contact soon. He lives in a nearby town. I will call or visit him this weekend.
I just got an MXT and I am getting all kinds of readings from it. I read the previous posts and will do a better ground balance.
What could it mean when I am getting a lot of VDI that say "1$?" Please respond. Thanks, Brent
