found this interesting piece of history yesterday. I'd bevery happy if someone could help identifying what it is. It has a hinge where I put the arrow. Obviously there is something missing inside the round deal....theround piece measures around 4 cm / 1.5" in dia. Thank's for help!

Just a short report about my trip to AZ 2022. I returned on Monday 21st March. My friend Joe from CA picked me up at Las Vegas and we went to Stanton LDMA Camp, AZ. Just like last time in 2020 we had lots of wind but no rain this time. Unfortunately things happened and one wheel went to heaven...

found this rock in AZ a few days ago metal detecting. It is highly magnetic, the surface looks melted to me, a fingerprint is obvious, rust over a good portion of the surface........

many thanks for all your good suggestions. I do have the permission of the state of Piemont to prospect. I have been told (not officially) that this includes the gold prospecting and for private property I need the permission of the owner. I am just planning on checking dig holes left by others...

many thanks for your replies.....I cleaned it some more and was able to read a few more letters as in the original description now PEG DE GUIDES....^

found this in Germany close to a place I found coins from 17xx to 19xx Thank's for help to ID today after a night in water I can read the letter PEG on the down left arc the letters DE in the middle low part and GUIDES on the low right arc maybe that helps?
