Interesting about the griffins. Not to beat a dead horse, but, one more question...what would it mean that the piece does not have any silver purity markings? Not for sale on the market? Made prior to marking regulations?

Found this clad dime in change and the obverse really stood out. I have seen many irregularly shaped edges, but this one is really deep. Is there a name for this condition?

Hmm, interesting, but I'm having a tough time seeing that. Not saying you're wrong, but this ring is quite symmetrical and all of the other spoon rings I have seen and found are asymmetrical.
