    Dug this up the other day at an old home site near saltwater where I previously found 1700s coins. It?s non magnetic and it has weight to it. Might be silver and it?s about the size of a quarter. What do you think?

    Thanks for the input. I think its silver and it came out of salt water. I didn't clean it and its not magnetic. Its about the size of a quarter and really stuck together tight. Feels heavy as well.

    I found all these coins in one hole about 1ft 1/2 deep and the King George about 100ft from those.

    The ring is made of silver and the button is made of copper. Its hard to make out whats on the back of the button but i see N.Y. Thanks.
