Lol, actually I have the reverse problem. Finally found a 3x18 coil, but it is for uMax detectors. I just was looking for a list so I can cross check any detectors that I may come across to be sure that they will work with the coil.
You are correct in the fact that they have a nice list of all the detector names in the manual section.
I believe that you are incorrect in the matter of "they all have µMAX right beside the names of the ones you want". For instance, Lobo does not have that designation, but I believe it to be a...
Yeah, I went to the Tesoro site (and there is definitely a lot of information spread out around the site), but I still didn't see a place where they had a simple list. Something like this:
THESE ARE THE UMAX DETECTORS:
List of detectors
Which is what I am looking for, and think would be...
I was just wondering if anyone can supply a definitive list of uMax Detectors. I just want to know for the purposes of coil matching. Thanks.
I know the H.O.T. detectors are:

Yeah, I got one of these last year. They are pretty janky, but they do work. And you can't beat the price, of course.
I found that they aren't very sensitive and they aren't very rugged for "the field".
Mine has proved more useful finding studs than finding metallic objects in my lesche-dug...
I know my Vaquero went fairly nuts when I used it to hunt on the beach a few times. It did much better when I stayed out of the really wet sand. In the wet sand I was getting like 3-4 inches whereas up the beach from the water I was getting more like the normal 8 or more.
I only ended up with...
If you are buying a Vaquero, it is imperative that you buy only the High Output Technology (H.O.T.) coils. Tesoro's newest detectors (Cibola, Vaquero, Tejon, Lobo SuperTraq) can only use the HOT coils. Some people call these 4-pin whereas the older coils are referred to as 5-pin because of...
Yes. I bought a leather sheath and cut out the bottom portion to facilitate soil fall-through. Works better than the nylon sheath.
I don't want to post an ebay link. Search corona utility tool on ebay to see which one I got.
Have a good one.
Lesche Digging Tool and 28" Ground Shark.... Is $50 a good deal for both?
Just kidding, I know it's an awesome deal. I'm glad that I waited and watched Craigslist like a hawk for a couple of months instead of just ordering them outright...
Both from the same guy, both have never seen dirt...
In reference to valuable coins: Is rinsing with water "cleaning"?
I have just returned from browsing a coin collection website and discovered that they are extremely uptight about coins being cleaned (even more than I thought).
So if I unearth a, i dunno, 1850 nickel and it is caked with dirt...
