I know of the area history and any story of pirates buried treasure in Green cove would be a tall tale. There was civil war activity but no gold involved. All the pirate booty is either in Fernandina/Amelia isle or St augustine FL.
Hey guys
These items are very hard for me to ID and date. I was researching and found there was a skirmish with union and confederate soldiers near my home in FL. Not sure if these fit the timeframe but any help is appreciated.. Any of you brilliant minds able to ID these items?
Update: I bought this thing and put it on my sand shark. It takes the weight off and also lifts it up out of the water when im in the ocean. Much cheaper than buying a straight shaft!
Terry I hear ya! I know you have used one for years but switched over to a Minelab. I don't blame ya. The old SS is outdated technology compared to all these newer models. I think it an pick on gold ropes just fine, its just the actual gold link chains,. Happy hunting!
Hey guys
I was looking at possible straight shaft options of sharkeys extension bar for $24.00. Anyone use it? Does it help your arm?
The ad says it will give your arm a rest...
Hello everybody!
I have a Tesoro sandshark and it has worked great so far. However, if something happens to it, I figure there's no one to fix it. You guys think it would be worth it to just sell it? What would you do?
Thanks for any help!
