  1. Hydro-Force Nozzles still being made?

Mines is a 4" and that thing could suck on some dirt.. it uses 2 9hp high pressure pumps preferably diesel to put down the fuel cost. Where able is legal is the best way to go now in days because most streams are mined and in a lot of places most gold sits in the benches.. I just need to...

  3. Dredging and high banking in a good spot - Madagascar

Before you go all out i advise you to do a sampling program or have someone who have been in and out the river to better guide you. Normally here in the top part where the stream bed starts is where most larger nuggets are found at the end is where fines collect and inside bends while larger...
  4. so many questions about dredges and whatnot

now in days there is veryy little virgen ground specialy in gold bearing areas.. having a understanding about if the area is heavyly mined is a good idea to know before hand because you dont want to be dredging others tailings... another thing is when you are not sure where a dredging cut was...
  5. Overburden slusher

Wow thanks Reed. I have never seen that kind of scoop. I like the handle im the back something that i was thinking i could have placed in the design to have it towed by a crew.. Atleast to start with. That bucket seems used with be cattles or horses .? The scoop i was trying to design is...
  6. Overburden slusher

This is exactly what im trying to work around..a motorized winch is something that produces a lot of strength and is very fuel efficiente. Having a properly having working bucket hoe could dig a large deep hole with enough cable.
  7. Overburden slusher

The problem is we are planning on digging on a flat surface. .the place where we are trying to dig cant be dug by hand because it callapse. But there is about 30 plus feet to make it bedrock. The plan we had is to remove it with the Scraper bucket and hand dig the paylayer. If the...
  8. Overburden slusher

No. What im trying to remove is just a clay material with some roots. I tried it with my first prototype bucket but it was not strong enough but my winch was working strong... Ima make it now with 1/2 slick plate now on the sides for it wont close in on itself. . But i know the winch...
  9. Overburden slusher

Hello everyone.. I have been working on something to use to remove overburden with the use of two motorized winches. . A larger one to drag a scraper bucket and one to reverse the bucket to the new start possition. It should work something like a dragline but instead of carrying the...
  10. hydraulic elevator

i have not seen a large excavation made with these units as you see being done with Gravel pumps .. i have just seen shallow excavation made 8 feet and under. in my situation im trying to figure out an alternative to a gravel pump but i think a gravel pump is the way to go being able to lift...
  11. hydraulic elevator

About the same of a Vortex setup i believe.
  12. hydraulic elevator

This is exactly what i was looking forward to build but from the picture alone i could tell it takes a large amount of water to run from the jet inlet pipe and the suction pipe size. . it does looks simple to build. The throat isnt really nessesary since i have read some who made them without it.
  13. hydraulic elevator

Thanks for clearing that part for me..i would like to try to test one out. But i want something i could blast with a larger hose like a P180 and be able to have a elevator sucking up all the gravel. . Maybe ima need one larger then a 4" ... Does anyone have shared the plana behind the vortex...
  14. hydraulic elevator

To me i find it easier to make a metal one since i have more experience dealing with metal jet logs then in PVC one.
  15. hydraulic elevator

I have only seen the Vortex working in shallow ground . i could achieve that with just a normal dredge filling and unfilling a dredge hole. Im talking about using something that could shoot lots of gravel out of pit atleast 20 to 25 feet . The old times used hydraulic elevators that had a jet...
  16. hydraulic elevator

    hello..have someone tried to build a hydraulic elevator ? how much water / pressure to run a 4" or a 6" ...
  17. Motorized winch ...

Hi Reed, I did get to build a clutch system and also a way to desengage to the drum from the motor. The reason you didnt get to see it is because the belt i got it too small and there wasnt any play in between it. i also didnt install the Pulley Bar because i needed a 5/8" screw to set it in...

Hello Everyone.. Dont let no one tell you you cant do it. i have build My Dredges and now My own Mechanical Winch. it could break in 3 pieces and be taking anywhere.

Sometimes you dont fall of the gold the gold just vanish out of plain sight. . Is pretty difficult looking for gold because of that. Then you have not another choice but to move on to a newer location which you dont know off.
