We had a great time & made some fine new friends & memories! The finds where secondary. Only thing lacking would be a stiffer suspension on the digger vehicle..... Sorry for the bumpy ride guys!
I thought of upholstery tacks also & the site I found one there was colonial era stuff found there also. I suppose the could have been on saddles too.?
How about a "Pin a pasture field!" Back to a site where we've found lots of flat buttons, cut pistareen ca. 1720's. Taking my time in a 10' x 10' or so sq. & found a couple of flat buttons, then found a first for me......a brass stick pin fully intact with the head & seems to be the sharp...

Great bunch of relics! I'm interested to see what the brass whatizit with the slot is. I found part of one, also at a camp, and not knowing what it was, threw it in the misc bucket. Good finds!
