A friend of my found this coin in Canada and was unable to make a positive id any help would be appreciated. It obviously has some serious age so suspect it was either lost or stolen from a coin collection.
I suspect it's European origin.
I thought since a lot of people may be doing the isolation thingy it wouldn't be a bad idea to start a thread where we could share some of our past finds.
I'll get the ball rolling. Sterling silver stamp safe. Bring em on....coins, jewelry, relics, buttons, etc...

After being shut down since late fall finally got in a mid day hunt yesterday....this sports field has been pounded pretty hard by me over the years but still gives up the odd surprise.
In any event I dug a bit of clad and the usual junk and got a good solid signal and out popped this...
The amazing thing about this song/rendition is the playing is all being done by one person who happens to be only 18 years old.....most seasoned musicians have a hard time covering Pink Floyd just playing one instrument.

5 coppers 1940 to 1957 and not...
Went to a sports field this morning I've detected many times....as the soil is quite dry I cranked up the sensitivity to the max trying to find some deeper targets.
Managed a couple of cents from the silver era then lo and behold at 5 or 6" up pops an 1853 seated half dime....I didn't...
Last Tuesday hit a nearby park and concentrated on an area where there used to be a hotel near the water.
Managed a couple of George V1 pennies and a 1915 wheatie....I've pulled large cents from there in the past including an 1844 US large cent.
