  1. 🔎 UNIDENTIFIED closure of some sort

found this little guy a few outings ago and at first thought it may have been a saw medallion but after inspection, I think I can rule that out....and then I noticed two slits, opposite each other on the knurled rim. Now I am even more clueless. I have found on this same site a lead push-on cap...

  5. Tip to something

This brass tip is about an inch long and appears to have been round but is squished as found. I just bought this Hobbies Magazine from 1935 for an article it featured but was blown away by the prices of some of the artifacts/collectibles it had in a few ads. I have this site that has lots of forged nails and lots of brass nails, all being hand made. But these little homemade fasteners have also shown up here. A friend just dug this and he was thinking oar lock, but I thought it too small and not quite right. What do you all think?
