Ladies and Gents, found this today about 8" down in a field of a farm built in 1798. However, I have also found 2 King George Half Cent Coppers at the same place (1727-1760) so the place may have had an older home on the grounds at one time. My opinion is that it's a very old drawer pull back...

Found this item in a church yard about 6" down. Very heavy, weights 2lbs 3 oz, non ferrous. No idea what it could be. Any suggestions? It says "National Patented" on the side that is not curved.
