10-03-08 Hunt

I have found Civil War relics in my friend’s yard. It’s been a while
sense I’ve hunted there so I thought I’d give it a try. I will be back
later to hunt the woods close to his house.

Didn’t find much.

I found two things I don’t have a clue about.

Here’s a copper thingy:

This thing has a steel shaft and a lead thing on the shaft. It has
letters and numbers imprinted on the lead in relief, but I can’t find
anything on it:

I’ve had better hunts, but I got to visit with friends and we had a
good laugh about the treasures I dug up.

Keep searching you'll hit a goodies somewhere in there.

The disc is part of a oil lantern. Find alot of them at older sites.
