In New Jersey we have our bad winters and some where the ground never freezes. The ground has been locked up since the holidays but we ended up catching a break. So my good friend Charlie and myself hit a south facing slope known for rev war activity that has been picked over thoroughly. We went in there expecting small margins but scratched out a few finds, and had a good time.

Awesome saves! It's always a great feeling popping old coinage from the dirt sea!

Now that's a great find for a mid winter hunt, all I can expect here is hypothermia and a few pine cones.
