Help with identifying this copper would be greatly appreciated. I’ll get better pictures posted soon. To me I see 1793. Looking at the different varieties of the large cents of that year I believe this to be a liberty cap variety. Not an expert so I’m reaching out here to see what everyone thinks!

I definitely see a 3. That coin has definitely seen better days. I concur with RTR, shadowing from an angle should show remaining details not seen under direct light.

Take a new smooth piece of aluminum foil ad make a rubbing. It is surprising how much more detail you will see.

I think your correct on the 1793 date.
Limited on this device for photo editing.
