I haven't been finding much to write home about the last few months but today made up for it. Went to one of my fields where the farmer said they tilled up 2 Revolutionary War cannon balls decades ago. It's a massive field and I've been slowly covering it and digging everything.

Got a signal near where I found a dandy button and though it might be another button. Dug the hole and was shocked to see a musket ball. Go back over the hole and get same signal so get pinpointer back in and another one and another and another! It was absolutely insane and they were close to a foot deep. Crazy to think a Revolutionary soldier probably dropped his pouch of musket balls and I find them almost 250 years later

Musket ball spill, nice. Are those coppers in the other picture? You didn't mention them.

Someone must have dropped their "possibles pouch"? Good score on the musket balls!
