Interesting old coin. I like the landscape and detectorist pictures. What is New Viscaya? Is the coin silver in the real series (2 R maybe)?

Per Wiki: Nueva Vizcaya was the first province in the north of New Spain to be explored and settled by the Spanish. It consisted mostly of the area which is today the states of Chihuahua and Durango and the southwest of Coahuila in Mexico.

The coin's mintmark is "D" (for Durango) and the value is shown as 1/8 (real). In lieu of a '1' a dot has been placed. This was done at the mint. The reverse legend will read: DE LA PROVINCIA DE NEUEVA BIZCAYA 1822; from the series 1821-1823.

Hope you all enjoy this Beauty old coin.
