The backstory;
I got this in 1961 or 62 by selling the kid that lived across the street from me a roll of caps for a penny and this is what he paid me with. Still got it after all these years. I tried looking it up to get some information on it a few times but soon realized that it’s not all that simple. From what I understand, there are a lot of variations such as star size, ponytail shape, nose size and liberty size. Thanks in advance for your input. D D

what you have is a basic

Coronet Head Large Cent or Copper.​

Well that was quick. Trying to look this up on eBay I figured there was too many factors like the ones I mentioned And I couldn’t tell what the subtle differences was from the pictures.
thanks again for your help.

On a side note, I’ve had this a long time and have no interest in selling it. I’ll probably just give it to the grand kids at some point. maybe they can buy a roll of caps with it.
