It is from Canada . I almost feel ripped off . It is in bad shape . It appears to have the H mint Mark . Being that it is older is there any value here or is it in to bad of shape ?

The "H" mark is correct, it being the only mint mark on the "72".
The coin is sterling; 0.925 silver; 0.1728 oz. ASW.
That year had the greatest mintage (2,240,000) in the series (1870-1901).
A couple of years ago, that coin might fetch between $10 and $13.
Don......

Ty Don .

You said you feel ripped off. Might I ask, how much did you pay for it?

I was hoping for an American coin .

Need to read the description a little closer next time.
