1878 Yale Pad Lock ?

Went out for a short hunt today. Found Yale pad lock with the dates July 10, 1877 , Nov. 27 1877 & Sept 24, 1878 stamped on the back of lock. Also found a pocket knife & fork.

Congratulations on your nice recoveries ..the lock is in great condition
It’s going to be awhile before I can get back out there over here with snow etc ..
I hope the winter months allow you to continue in your area
