Nice!!! Congrats!!!I found these buttons, not in one trip but a few, at the site of the Oakwood town site just east of lake oakwoos east lake. The town was there frok 1872 until 1895. There is just a historical marker there now and farmers fields. View attachment 1996996
No, the backs are all rusted off. I am sure the backs were not made of the same metal as the rest of the button. They are all copper.Liking those buttons, really cool.

I believe they were there as there were a bunch of men working on the railroad in the early 1980s. I know that there was Chinese workers too as I found a couple of Chinese coins there also.very neat! never seen anything like them before.
