Hi all,
Got real lucky this morning when I had 20mins to kill before work. Rang up like a penny for some reason on my nox 800. I couldn't believe it was a Morgan dollar, I thought I would never dig one!
Looks to be dropped in pretty good shape. Not sure I want to clean it

Thank you, I've been digging under a decade but I what I love about this hobby is you never know what you will find. It was in a very trashy area with lots of iron and junk so something else by it prob gave it those numbers
you completely nailed it, the unknown factor keeps us going!

I did the rinsing and then the aluminum foil baking soda method. It brought out more details but its very blotchy now.
lemon juice it maybe honestly do not know a ton about coin restoration kinda a relic guy but think it would take some of the black away without damaging it

I cleaned her up and couldn't be happier with the results!
