Hello All,
I've been detecting here in Deming for some time now and would like to share with you some finds. I'm using an AT Pro with a small DD coil. The Morgan was sitting vertically at a depth of 10". The Morgan, V Nickel and US button were found within 3' of each other. Camp Cody named after Wild Bill Cody, was in service from 1917-19. That Morgan was circulated 30 years before dropped and then found 100 years after. What a cool feeling it was to reflect on the details. The Buffalo nickel and the button were surface finds found together at the edge of the road. I've learned I need to start walking the roadside more often. The Zinc 4 hole buttons are all over the place.
Thanks for this forum where we can share and learn from others experience's.
