Looks like the whole date is different a tad, especially the 4.
Looked up a few different forums but got nothing.

It looks like strike/mechanical doubling on the entire date.

I certainly do see the strike doubling however that doesnt explain the square like box under the half of the 4 you can see it on both sides of the 4

To me, it looks to be what is referred to as a "die shift", a minor error that is actually quite common.
