ok so is this MD? or some other type of error? im still learning the error coin subject and with so many different ones some being alot alike can get real confusing but im always up for any information and to learn from others views and knowledge regarding this coin interest so anybody know if this nickel is MD or whatever ?

It look like a double die to me.
You can go to the NGC site now to compare your finds now. YouTube video also. A Coin store can help you too.

I would say Machine Doubling. You can see the doubling all around the letters, not to one side. A double die is a die that is stuck with the hub, then rotated before being struck again. That would cause doubling on one side of the letter, not both sides, as you have. Machine Doubling is technically an error but has almost no value.
