Great digs. Thats a good day in my book. :icon_thumright:

Nice goin man!

One flying eagle cent is rare...I don't think I have ever seen two found in the same hunt. I like the buckle...congrats on your finds.

Hey, sweet buckle frame :icon_thumleft: 2 flying eagles is pretty neat.. in one day, even neater.

your friends will love VA if they like to relic hunt

nice day out for sure Gary! nice relics and congrats on the 2 flying eagles  it's a good day when everyone pulls something nice.
makes for a long hike outta the woods when only one person has a pouch full of goodies.

Awesome dig's....the shoe buckle and th Eagle's are some great save's.The "bullet" is a modern day shotgun slug, find them all the time.Sweet dig's

Looks like one great hunt. 2 FE in one day alsome......Matt

I actually like the little axe. Check it for little dimples or holes where a wire would have been attached. It reminds me of the little hatchet pins that temperance movement queen Carrie Nation's followers wore. It also reminds me of hatchets worn by a couple of long-ago political campaigns although their names escape me right now...

I also don't think I've seen anybody post two flying eagles found in one day - saw two found in
successive days . Righteous ! Argentium.

sweet hunt!!!!! MR TUFF

Cool finds. Score on the Eagles! :icon_thumright:

Love those Eagle cents. Still hoping to find one...

The axe is pretty neat too. Wonder if it was a game piece. I had a game of jack straws when I was a kid that was all garden tools. Mine was plastic, but they could've done 'em metal early on. fibberjibber is probably closer to the truth, but might be a toy...

I remember the happy dance I did when I found my first and only flying eagle 1858 . I could not sleep for three days and I get exited when I think about it. I can not imagine Xs 2. You guys had one of the best hunts I have seen on here this season great job on all those saves. Rob :coffee2: Ps. that was my first year over 7 yrs ago. :hello2:

awesome hunt! congrats on the Flying eagles!
