2 hours at the hunted out lake beach

For the first time in 15 (or so) years returned to a popular small beach. It was hunted out back then, it's even worse now – the beach itself is about 200 yards, and in 2 hours I bumped into 3 other detectorists (maybe there were more). After 10 minutes of finding mostly foil seals I've decided to go wet and spent the rest of the time neck deep in the water. T'was fun! Lots of coin spills, tungsten fishing weights, a dime sized pendant and… Aaron. There's always Aaron.

From my experience, the most productive part of beaten up freshwater beach with no wave action is a small fringe depth between wading and snorkeling. Snorkelers pretty much always skip it, and it's too deep for waders. Then there's me, making all kinds of bubbles!
