I haven't posted in a while...been trying to avoid people and negativity. However, I went to a place I had not been before. Didn't get any good signals on my Nox for a long time. Then BAM, two nice silver rings within less than 10 feet of each other on a sports field. They were about 3-4 inches down, so they had been there a while. Going out the next two days of this 3 day weekend, and hope to get more! I am beginning to learn the nuances of this machine. HH everyone...

I agree! I appreciate this forum, and I have learned so much from folks here. I don't even get on Facebook anymore. At least I met some nice people and had good conversations while I was detecting today.

Beach detecting is always great with or without awesome finds. So ya its been good for me, always finding something. Nothing beats being on the beach in my books.

Nice finds good looking rings, I got lucky once I found a target that turned out to be a gold ring and set my pinpointer down and it started buzzing so I finished digging first target and the second target was another gold ring. This was in a lake that was way down due to the drought. Also found a silver ring that day too.
