Posted my first first one in the fur trade forum, since I got a second I’ll spread the wealth to those that don’t frequent the fur trade thread.

Thanks all I’ve detected both those spots many many many times, so much so, that it’s rare to have a beep on all metal full sensitivity. Pretty crazy that two points came out.

The first I found with my little 8in coil that i prefer. Second came with my giant 18in coil experimenting down slope with possible deeper buried stuff due to slump… actually didn’t work but when I moved to the second spot I found the little one… that monster stresses my detector bar and my arm and my holes always end up huge so I don’t use it much.

The iron ones do get pretty rusty, stupid me picked at a little bump of rust on the bottom of the small one and it took a whole corner with it. The big one I’m afraid to remove the rust, might be the only thing holding the pieces together. Leaning towards evapo rust and maybe a rust prevention clear coat or black paint.
