This was my third year in the hobby. I had a great time hunting this year, albeit a bit less successful than last year, but a good time was had none the less.

As stated by others, the people are thing that makes this hobby great for me. I have hunted with dozens of TNetters in 2016, and look forward to hunting with many more in 2017. I sincerely appreciate and cherish the memories!

Here is a pic of the silver jewelry items that I found:

IMG_20161220_185639_160-1.jpg

I got (38) silver coins. I didn't figure you wanted to see Mercs, Rosies, Washingtons and war nickels, so here is what's left:

IMG_20170101_075120_864-1.jpg

I found two large cents this year:

Here are the military items, buttons and a collar disc:

IMG_20170101_100549_388-1.jpg

I managed to find (15) Buffalos, (4) V nickels, (1) shield nickel and (16) Indians, which is much improved over prior years. I attribute this to digging more signals... yeah, I get more trash, but I get more treasure too.

Lastly, here are some of the relics that I found:

Thanks for looking and best of luck on your hunts!

That's Quite a haul CT. Only thing that's missing is a Kicker Coin that you almost found. Oh well 2017 is your year.
I left you another one at the backstop place.

Awesome year Tom! You guys always kill it on those silvers man. Meeting some fellow members and doing a bit of hunting is without a doubt the highlight though. Happy New Year man and best of luck in 2017.

Very nice Tom. That's a great year and great photos. Now I see a lot of fabulous photos, but my favorite is the one of OG Smittyman bent over that hole.

It has been a great year for you brother, and you've raised the bar quite a bit for yourself for 2017!

Cheers

Congrats on the stellar year Tom.
You seem like a really decent guy.
Some of my warmest memories of this hobby come to mind when I think about the hunts I have shared with other members of treasure hunting forums. I have no doubt that I will continue to join other Tnet members in hunts during 2017.
Thanks for your post and congrats on all your finds.

Looks like you had a great 2016 Tom, :icon_thumleft: Pulling 69 keepers coins in a years is awesome. The pics are great. Did Magnum come over and take the pics or is it all your doings?

Great Memories, looking forward to more in the future.

That Smittyman is something else... on all fours staring into a hole. It never ends with him!

I don't know how I missed this when it was originally posted. It's funny we both ended up with 38 silver coins for the year. But no halves or Barbers for me.

Just wanted to say if you ever have the opportunity to hunt with Tom (and Smittyman), take it. Even if you don't find much, Tom will make the day enjoyable. He is one crazy dude! And I mean that in a good way. :icon_thumleft:
