This has been a very nice 4th of July weekend. 3 days of hunting so far (Fri - Sat- Sun) and I still have tomorrow off for another hunt. :headbang:

I went to a site that I hit late last fall with my F4. This site gave me 2 silver then and again today. I pulled a 1959-D rosie and a 1946-S quarter. All the other coins were pennies, 6 of which were wheats (1941, 44, 50, 51-D, 56-D, & 57). This house was built in the mid 50's.

When I finished I went to a site that I know has been pounded over the years. I have been there 3 other times roaming with the detector. I have only found 2 coins at this site, but I think it has still has potential. I did manage to dig a clad dime, a reed of some sort, an old light fixture and a 10 cent off Dr Caldwell Syrup Pepsin aluminum token. I did notice some fresh plugs there so I know someone else local thinks it has potential also.

Maybe if I quit my job, move to NJ, hunt 24 hours a day I can get close to Scrappy's totals :laughing7:

Thanks for reading as as always, hope ya'll got out today and swung the coil.

Another great day for hunting, finding a nice group of coins! Toy cars and trucks are always a welcome find.

Great job Loco, gota love that time off.

Looks like you're having a great holiday weekend diggin! Keep at it!

Toys , tokens and silvers . Who can ask for more

Nice finds! Same 2 silvers I found this weekend, a rosie and a quarter. If you don't know what the copper thing is next to the token at the bottom is. It's an organ reed. I find them around old church sites.

Nice finds can not beat finding silver. Hope you do good in the morning. My buddy and Me will be heading out in the morning also before work for a couple of hours. Will be on land instead of the water tomorrow.

I was thinking of taking my Aquanaut for the 1st time tomorrow morning. Going to a local state park beach to see what's there. The beach has been there since the 50's. There's a chance of pulling some newer silver coins and who knows, maybe some bling.

DAG GONE LOCO YOU JUST CANT SEEM TO SIT STILL, AND WITH 4 DAYS OF DETECTING THATS A HAELUVA DEAL. NICE....

You go Loco! Keep hitting those sites over and over. Nice work.

Some nice looking silver right there!!!! WTG:occasion14:

digging up quarters is awesome.:icon_thumright:

Good stuff Loco, congrats on the silver....and the abundant detecting time!

You go Loco! Get that silver!!! I tend to aim for the shadows of large trees, the viewing areas of old sport fields, and always look for old dirt, and "old grass" in some situations...

Thanks for the advice Scrappy. I normally cherry pick a new site to see what I can find. I then grid it out and hit the property in 2 directions. I plan on hitting all older permissions again since I upgraded from the F4 to the F75. I have slowed down and enjoy digging iffy's and whispers. Last year I discriminated a lot. Now I only disc iron and foil and have a huge coil. It's nice to go back and find coins that I missed last season by swining so fast and probably thought it was a false signal.

Well done LD. Nice Washington... I have not found one in a while. The quarters seem to be eluding me.

Congrats on GL!

Nice Job Loco. I'm glad to see there are others with similar silver totals as myself. :laughing7:
