Remarkable!!!

Being a Gorham piece, it should command a decent price. I believe the pattern is Chantilly-Duchess. It's a bread tray.

Nice profit to be made when you want to sell. Good eye. Nice find. Congrats

WOW! Great work.

The one that I am finding on ebay are 6 inches. This one is 12 1/2 long by 8 inches wide.

177 bucks melt value. Not too shabby. Congrats

Amazing find! Must have made your day.

To be considered Sterling, the purity must be 92.5 % Silver. That piece is clearly marked Sterling. $177. is the melt value.
If you so that piece on Ebay, it would command much more than melt value. Excellent purchase.

Great buy on a beautiful piece ! Every time I check out the local thrift stores there's nothing there except old clothing.

Good eye! 🙌 Congrats!!

Spectacular Find!

This is the best! Thrift stores are fun :hello2:

Nice return on your investment there ! Great save.

Nice! You can barely see the word, Sterling and was possibly overlooked. Love it when that happens.

Fortunately, I had my 30X loupe in my pocket! I couldn't see "sterling" without it.
