Here are found a coin . We define it as 8 reales 1807 Mexico ( Spanish colonial coin ) . But as I looked on the Internet, all the coins of the denomination and the type of silver. And I have also clearly copper. Who can assume that on this occasion ! Russia finds place . As it turned out then I can only guess .

You are correct. If it were authentic it would be composed of 0.896 silver.
Clearly, this coin is not--especially since the green tinge has appeared.
Other characteristics of an authentic 8R Carlos IIII coin would be a 40mm diameter and about 27 grams in weight.
Don...
PS: This 'coin' is marked 8R, signifying reales not maravedis.

I wonder just how it was in Russia . Moreover, it is not silver . As I think it may be connected with the War of 1812 . When France invaded Russia . And as part of the French troops were Spaniards .

Great find! There is a book about these here:

Counterfeit Portrait Eight-Reales: The Un-real Reales (Counterfeit Eight-Reales) (Volume 1): Robert Gurney, Gordon Nichols, John Lorenzo: 9781500497170: Amazon.com: Books

It's a relatively new study though so there could be varieties not covered in the book. I looked at my copy and yours may be a match for this one ....? (I'm not sure due to ground wear).

Oh and the Spanish 8 Reales was a trade coin used worldwide at the time - so it is not as surprising as you may think at first for one to end up in Russia. They were very popular in China too.
