Not sure What it has to do with predicting Weather but
000aaa.jpg

Debuting Sunday, Nov. 14, at 9/8c, Frozen Gold gives viewers a front row seat to the world of gold exploration. This weekly adventure series follows six Americans who embark on a dangerous quest to uncover wealth on an Arctic journey through uncharted land.

I'm predicting they are as good as the Greenland Crew was :tongue3:
but may be worth a try

Nope , This crew may be even less experienced than The "Ice cold Gold" crew , Not the right equipment for prospecting , a finish pan for sampling ? no digging tools , Gold on the top layer of alluvium ?, I wish they took lessens on how to pan . Maybe they get better next week I hope.

I wouldn't want to bet on these men's ability or knowledge in finding gold ! According to their comment's on this clip , most of them have mined ALL over the world . Don't let the Script Writer's or the drama people sway your understanding of what's up !

Just watched the first episode, and so far I'm not impressed.

What I did see was lots of potential "plot complications" that I'm sure will
reveal themselves in later episodes.

The gal with the long, purple/red hair is a drama queen, and with 3 guys
and 3 gals there's bound to be some social issues that develop. But, can they work together, as a team, to get the most gold out of the ground?

I think the twin sisters are going to do fine so long as they're not afraid
of the work, and avoid romance with the two younger guys.

Jury is still out...

And the 2nd airing was even more worse than the 1st. That's it for me !
Anyone notice how the 'Weather Channel' kept plugging their "Global Warming" crap ?
Didn't take them long like the first 2 minutes :(
I thought the show was going to be about finding Gold :BangHead:

so do people get voted off or have to compete ?
or are they all 1 team ?
I Haven't decided to Watch yet , but I don't like competition shows.
of fake drama.. downside i see coming up .
if i get interested, and the weather turns bad.
the shows may get pre-empted all winter and lost in space
like the gem hunters show a few years ago.

it seemed every week when I Sat down to Watch it.
The weather People decided they were there to do special Reports on a live Storm.
but the rest of the week they aired storm stories and other Crap

The jury has returned, and with a unanimous verdict.......

The Drama Queen was in rare form, and the poor guy with her was no
prize himself. I question both their abilities with a gold pan, and how to
find placer gold.

Same old problems..the need for bigger machines seems like a
common thread in all these shows.

Filling up the last 10 minutes of the show with more blather about
the Emo Gold Goddess told me all I needed to know; the show is long on drama and plot complications, and short on gold.

HMMMMM ?? Drama is ALWAYS added in to brighten up the NON- exciting days of mining / prospecting / dredging. I wish I was able to join that crew BUT I'm to old and beat up to be able to do that type of work anymore !

it's beautiful country, i'm watching for that, mainly.

The red haired gal doesn't have a clue. She claims to be a geologist, but i seriously doubt it.
