Hi Ya'll....

Hunted in my usual spots today. I'm still on the tail end of the flu, so I really didn't feel like traveling far, so I stayed close to home. I went to the usual Elementary Schools with not much luck. Quarter here, dime there. I went by the school where I found the silver ring last week and was headed behind the school where the big playground is and low and behold, there was another detectorist! I don't see them often, just the tail tell signs that they've been there. Anyway, I snuck away before he could see me. Then I stopped by one of my favorite spots (not hunted) which is a playground behind a church/school. I'm not sure why this particular spot has not been picked to death, but for now, it seems to be "mine". I'm glad for that too cause I found a little bling today! I was very excited to see that this sweet little ring was not fake! WooHoo! Happy dance! I totaled 3.22 in clad for the day. Not bad I guess. At least I got my fix for the week with a little gold to put in my new ring display! ;D

Thanks for reading and I hope everyone finds a little something this weekend!

HH,
Moon

Oh, the beauty of those round shiny things looking up at you from the hold in the ground! It's a nice ring and the garnet is no doubt real. All those days we only find clad and junk, it sure is great to find some real gold. Congratulations. (I have yet to find any real gold!)

Thanks and Amen to the battery money! Now if I could only find enough clad to pay for the gas! ::)

This ring is my first Ladies/Girls Gold. I have only found silver ones before today. It definitely made my day!

Nothing like the feeling of digging gold. Maybe the other detectorist being there behind the school was a good thing, otherwise you would not have went to the church and found the ring today. I love the ring and I am very happy for you. Great clad count too

Thanks John! I sure hope I can keep this one spot to myself for awhile. Temps are getting warmer and the kiddies are out playing. Time to fill up those Tot Lots.

Moon, really a nice ring. Glad your feeling better. I'm also on the tail end of the flu. Probably won't get out here in Utah, for another month. Continued luck.

Thanks Count! The flu has ravaged our little town and frankly I'm sick of it! ::)
Glad you are felling better as well!
