Weather, freezing ground, time....been holding me back! So, after a month or so, some warmer temps. I figured I could find some ground I could dig.

First couple spots? Frozen! Next one, some patchy ground frozen and not.

I dug one hole about 9 inches deep! Should've brought along an ice pick!!! But I got stubborn! The signal was marginally better than iffy. I just wanted to know how deep the freeze was there! Found out! And was one bottle cap richer for 15 minutes of effort.
:dontknow:

I did find one sunlit field that wasn't frozen And just stayed there the rest of the walk.

That’s a lot of digging for frozen semi frozen ground. Nice walk, Sir WHADI.

Milady!
Yes, that first hole? I couldn't believe just how deep the permafrost extended! All I could do was pound the shovel in and break out ice chunks! I was curious but....a Nat'l Boh bottle cap!?!?!? After all that work, I desensitized the machine and notched out junk/(rings :dontknow: ). I was there for exercise....but not *that* much!! :)

I'll be bahhhhhck! Lol!
