The Best first: A Failed Fluted Lance made of a Dark Rhyolite with half of the Fluting Platform (or Nipple) still present. In this series of photos, you can see a defect in the center of the stone that lead to its ultimate failure. You can also see a partial Flute that jumped around a basil defect.

The Second is a Cool thin Blade that is broken at the upper 3rd section. It?s likely a Middle Woodland Type we call Fox Creek Lanceolate.

Awesome info. I've been looking hear and there, but seem to be in the summer doldrums. I'll upload the photos of that black and blue stone triangle you commented on soon. Maybe two weeks. Simply put, will have access to it in 2 weeks.

Thank you. I?ve gone long stretches without finding anything new. That?s usually when I have the time to go back and really study the mystery points. That dark Rhyolite triangle you found is trying to tell us something.

That first piece is very cool! I agree with your conclusions- intended to be a fluted point.

I appreciate your feedback. It?s been a few days since posting it. Started to wonder if I made it confusing.
Thank you.
