Been doing pretty good. Got a real nice point ( Duval) that helped me type another from the same site."never would have guessed" Also wanted to correct the typology of a point from a few weeks ago..its a 3 5/8" Marion..but since it's a little different from the classic form could be called a Putnam since they are really the same. And some other goodies.

Nice. I'm on the east coast and we never get points like that around here. At least I don't.

Thanks.. It wont be long til I'm not either...at least not much local. I'm down to one private property site close to me..the other one I had is in construction now. Three hour drive to my families land to the north.

Thats really some amazing and interesting finds, great job, thanks for the pics.

Thank you both. I still need to take some more photos.

Nice Gator. You have done well. I hate to think back on all the sites I have lost that were killer due to one thing or another. Harder to find good sites now days.

It's sad to watch... It wouldn't seem quite so bad If we were just adding Another occupation To a multicomponent site.... But the bulldozers take care of that.

I'm sure it's heart wrenching. Sorry about that bro.

Welcome back Gator..........

Thank you TreasureHunter.

NC. Its pretty bad.. it hurts me to watch a tree that's withstood the hardships of time come down...then there is this. "WORSE"

I have seen logging ruin some great land marks as well as poor clean up cause artifacts to be buried even deeper. I guess I could start cleaning up, since the loggers didn't. I don't know where to start though. It's a freaking mess. My aunt lives in Lynchburg VA. And had her part of the farm timbered. Since she is so far out of town, the loggers did no clean up. She didn't push the envelope either. She is the type that would rather leave her grand kids time share, rather than land. I love her, but big city genius is a proper sarcastic title for her.

Another nice example of a bulbous base Florida Duval point.
You don't see too many of these.
They are often confused for one of the Bolen types.
